Officially a pro!!

The true start to the dream has officially happened! No longer will my name have "(am)" sitting next to it on the leader board. My status has been changed, and I am now a professional golfer! Whoohoo!

Highlights from my first tourney as a pro

This week I played my first tournament as a professional golfer at Sundance country club in Buckeye, Arizona. It was a 3 day tournament and I finished 6th in a field of 13 players. There were highs and lows, but overall a lot of learning and positive take aways. I had my mom on my bag, and it was special having her as my caddy for my first professional event.

I fought some nerves on the last day and didn't have the finish I was hoping for, but walked away feeling better about my game than when I started. My next tournament is in about 2 weeks, and I'm so excited to get back out there and continue bettering my skills!
